With over fifteen years of experience in Workers’ Compensation, Ms. Schmidt is certified by the State Bar of California as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist, and is also certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution including negotiation, mediation and arbitration. Outside of work, Ms. Schmidt is an active member and volunteer at her church, enjoys travelling, going to concerts, movies and Dodgers’ games with her husband and their five children, and has several accomplishments as an athlete including successfully finishing the Boston Marathon in 2013, and various triathlons.
Deliza is the Firm Administrator and Co-Founder of The Oaks Law Group, bringing over 10 years of experience in HR, finance, and administrative operations. She manages the firm’s day-to-day functions, from staffing and payroll to billing and client relations, ensuring the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
Her leadership reflects the firm’s core values of unity, integrity, and dependability, and she is known for her ability to streamline processes and support the team’s success. Outside the office, Deliza enjoys weightlifting, family time, and creative projects that bring balance to her professional life.
Iliana focuses her legal practice on workers’ compensation defense, dedicated to advocating for employers and insurers with a thoughtful and strategic approach. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family, relaxing with her dogs, and exploring new restaurants and cuisines.
Ms. Safabakhsh has experience in healthcare regulatory law and public legal services where she previously worked in Boston, MA before coming to The Oaks Law Group. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working on her golf swing, and afternoons at the beach.
Now practicing workers’ compensation exclusively, Ms. Zierhut has prior experience in personal injury as well as labor and employment law. Ms. Zierhut is actively involved in the Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County and enjoys camping, hiking, all things fitness, and wine tasting.
Charlene has been a member of The Oaks Law Group since 2017 and has dedicated her time to learning all of the ins and outs of workers’ compensation law. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with her family.
